TGWB Honest Review3

Angel was sweet and gave me an ARC to read this freaking amazing story, and I had already pre-ordered it the day she mentioned it was coming out.
I loved this story—the first version was one of my all-time favorites—and this re-work takes the cake. I love Grant Palmer, he’s annoying and uptight. Being able to see how his mind thinks and how he feels about Amelia makes you relate to him.
He doesn’t want to be around anyone; his family and especially not this girl, whose very scent literally drives him mad (in both good and bad ways). Grant has secrets he doesn’t want anyone to know. He doesn’t tell Amelia who he really is, nor does he let his family what Amelia means to him.
Amelia has fallen hard for Grant Palmer, and she knows she shouldn’t. He’s her boss and so many lines are being crossed, but she just can’t help herself.
Worlds collide, serial killers are on the loose, and no one is safe. The big question: when Amelia finds out who Grant really is, will she still want him the way he wants her?
I seriously cannot wait for book #2! I’m contemplating bribing Angel so I can get first dibs at reading it. This one was suspenseful, funny, and has great character development. You either love them or hate them.
5+ stars for me
