Finding love just got a little easier…

What if I told you that there’s a magic potion that could lead you to the man of your dreams?

Would you drink it?

Josie Carter swore that there was no such thing as a “love potion” and that the crazy lady selling it at the hippie festival was a complete sham.

But a tiny little thread of hope is what made her try a sip.

A sip that caused a series of unfortunate events to unfold, wreaking havoc in her life but leading her to a man who just might be everything she’s been missing.

Before time runs out she’ll have to figure out if it’s true love, or if it’s all just too good to be true.
love struck

Naughty Angel (Sexy Nerd Boys, 2)Naughty Angel by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Eve has lived a very, very sheltered life, having never even kissed a boy, or held a boys hand. After leaving her parents’ house for a better education, she meets bad boy, Asher.
Asher is the hot tattooed bay boy. He is also sweet, caring, and hot as hell. This hottie is really a nerd that loves math who wants nothing more than to make Eve his. He would like to make sure she experiences everything she has missed out on in life.
This book was super sweet. There were times I was laughing out loud at Asher’s jokes. I can say after reading this one, I love me some sexy nerd boys. lol

Impossible Girl (Sexy Nerd Boys, 2.5)Impossible Girl by K.M. Neuhold
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I got to see little pieces of Dex and Remy in the other Sexy Nerd Boys books. I have been dying to get to know their story and I was not let down with this book at all. I read the whole thing in one sitting.
Dex is the super sweet and sexy single dad trying to finish college. Remy is the girl that only has sex with men—she doesn’t do relationships.
I can’t wait for the next book. Great job K.M. Neuhold!

Genre: Erotic Romance, Romantic Comedy

Release Date: April 29, 2016

Publisher: Independent

Format: Digital eBook

Change becomes the mantra for Stevie Sinclair and Gabe Shannon in the last book in the Quick and Dirty Series.

And it’s a wildly entertaining, hysterical, and smoldering trip as they prepare to walk down the aisle.

Trouble is: Stevie wants nothing more than to impress the Shannon family, but things don’t go exactly as planned. What kind of trouble has Stevie Sinclair gotten herself into this time?

Find out in Dirty Little Secrets…

Available for Pre-Order at:    Amazon  |  Barnes & Noble  |  iTunes  |  Kobo

Read a quick Excerpt from Dirty Little Secrets:

“You’ve been neglected, and I’m sorry.”

“I’m better now,” I told him.

“Yes, but you must be so wet. I can smell how badly you want it, and it’s making me so hard.” He gripped my backside and hauled me up against the long length of his body—and other things. He was not lying.

His hands skirted around my hips and headed down between my legs.

“Mmm.” Just his hands on my skin felt better than anything. I wanted to stop time.

Until he found the peephole.

“Fuck,” he groaned as he located the opening in my panties. “Are you trying to give me a heart attack?”

“No.” Maybe.

He dropped to his knees then, and I didn’t hear another word for some time.

Books in the Quick and Dirty Series:

Twenty-nine-year-old Stevie Sinclair has just lost everything: her boyfriend, her apartment, even her ugly bird named Free. (Yeah, she knows it’s a stupid name, so don’t start.) But most importantly, Stevie’s lost herself.

As she shuffles through her days in worn-out Hello Kitty PJs—eating ice cream, sipping wine, and contemplating her next move—a magazine article catches her attention. Blaring black letters read: “How to Get Your Sexy Back in Six Easy Steps.”

Stevie studies the article in the trashy magazine like the good student she is and immediately knows what she has to do. With the magazine article in hand, and a bottle of red in her bag, Stevie embarks on a journey to reclaim her life and win back her ex.

Until she meets Gabe Shannon. Gorgeous, single, and on a quest of his own, Gabe introduces Stevie to a lifestyle that is sure to help get her sexy back and then some. If she doesn’t chicken out … (Oh, you know where this is going.)

Available at: Amazon

In this second book in the Quick and Dirty Series, beloved characters Stevie Sinclair and Gabe Shannon navigate through the ups and downs of their grown-up—albeit kinky—relationship.

And while Stevie’s thoroughly enjoyed every mind-blowing sexperience with Gabe, she worries she’s not enough to keep him satisfied for the long term.

So it’s back to the drawing board for Stevie …

First stop?

Club Venus for the annual Halloween masquerade party.

What follows is one insanely hot and filthy night of mayhem where nobody is who they appear to be … ah, you get the idea.

Dirty Little Tricks is the seductive continuation of Stevie and Gabe’s story and the very beginning for one lucky couple at Club Venus.

Available at: Amazon

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000026_00026]

Gabe Shannon has just been schooled … in the art of kink, that is.

After a heartbreaking loss, this broken man spins out of control until a whirlwind friendship with a stripper named Tash takes over his life.

With Tash at his side, the two embark on a crazy tour of Chicago’s underground world of pleasure. Yes, he’s gone into a deep, dark, and dirty (make that D.I.R.T.Y.) world that he never really knew existed. And surprisingly, he discovers he likes it. Quite a lot.

But the reserved entrepreneur soon realizes that hanging from the chandeliers every night is not all it’s cracked up to be. Well, it is … but it’d sure be a lot more fun if it meant something.

This erotic tale can be read as an introduction to the Bestselling Quick and Dirty Series, or to learn more about the gorgeous Gabe Shannon anytime during the series. DIRTY is not a mandatory read, but you may enjoy the series more after you roam around in Gabe’s head a bit.

DIRTY tells the story of how Gabe started exploring his dirty side, came to own Club Venus, and met the crazy beautiful Stevie Sinclair.

GAME by London Casey , Karolyn James, Ana W. Fawkes

GAMEGAME by London Casey
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Finn drove me crazy. He was hot, he was cold. Finn was just all over the place, and that made me want to shake him or smack him. Being an underground fighter with mob ties wouldn’t be enough to deter me from roughing him up! He meets Shayna when she goes to the mob to try to find her sister. And that doesn’t work out too well for her.

Finn drove me crazy in the beginning chapters of the book but by the end, he won me over. I did feel there were things that were left untold, though.

3 ½ stars

Let me start by saying this, FIORE IS WACKO!!!!

This was pretty good. The action was fantastic. It was almost non-stop. Lots of fighting, car crashes, shooting. I liked it. 🙂 Shayna was great. She was caught up in the mob life because she was looking for her sister. She met Finn at an underground fight where she was offered as the prize if he won the fight. The thing is, Finn didn’t really want her as a prize because he was still mourning the loss of his girlfriend. Finn was strong and tough and moody. Brooding hero? Yes! Finn actually ran a little too hot and cold for my taste. He gave me a bit of whiplash with his back forth feelings.

And now we’re back to Fiore. There are just no words to describe his level of bat-sh*t craziness. I would have liked a little more info on how he and Zander were working together since they were supposed to be rival mob families, but that’s just me. LOL

3 ½ stars

I received an ARC for an honest review of this book. I liked it. I will say I liked the writing, what I didn’t care for the the wishy-washy characters and then the almost instant love they felt. That annoyed me….Fiore was off his rocker, and not even just a little. At first I was completely annoyed with the story line, but I stuck it out. I’m glad I did, in the end it all made sense where Fiore’s mind was. I should say sense where a sane person is observing.

I’ve not read a mob type/fighter storyline before, so that did intrigue me and that part of it I liked.
4 Stars for me because I really felt the writing style was good, and I didn’t flounce because of that.

One extroverted guy.
One assignment.
One afternoon.

Her torture became her muse, earning her well-deserved notoriety for capturing beauty with her lens. She had come full circle. She had it all…until he returned.

Nolan found himself surrounded by the grim facets of life, no longer the prominent boy from an affluent family who’d caught Novah’s eye. The years had been unkind and left him in the dark, painful trenches of life. He needed her help.

Fifteen years can equate to a lifetime of change, neither one the same person they once were. Despite the humiliation, the latent wounds, the missing years…they’re destined to heal one another in unexpected ways.

About Leddy Harper

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

Beautiful Boy by Leddy Harper

Beautiful BoyBeautiful Boy by Leddy Harper
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

3 stars

This is one of those books where in the midst of reading I had to stop and go look at other people’s reviews on it to see if I should stick it out. All the reviews I read said it was good, so persevere I did. And I have to say, I feel like I’m in the minority here; reviewers liked Novah, while she is what I had major trouble with in here.

Novah and Nolan have a past. They knew each other in high school; took a photography class together. Well, without giving anything away, something happened that changed both of their lives. Novah has held on to her anger and has blamed him for the last 15 years. When Nolan reaches out to her, she is still angry and lashes out at him. But then! In the space of one breath and the next, she’s kissing him, telling him he’s beautiful and she can see the good in him. She almost immediately let go of 15 years of anger and hurt and wanted to be there for him. I just couldn’t buy into her abrupt turn around. And as our story progressed, I felt she was selfish by continually pushing him. There were several times she questioned whether or not this would be the time he would break, but then would go on with whatever it was that was making Nolan uncomfortable. I felt like she was diminishing his feelings and concerns. I didn’t like it.

What I did like was Nolan. Sure, he was angry, moody and depressed. He had every reason to be; but he was strong, a hero and he knew he needed to get better. He’s the reason I kept reading. And I get why Novah wanted to fix him. Heck, I wanted to reach out and snuggle him and make everything good for him.

I’ll give Leddy Harper credit. She can write. She wrote an engaging story that made me feel compassion and anger and I will gladly read more of her work later on. Even though I still wanted to smack Novah ;0)

I have to say I had a hard time reading this book. It took me a little longer than normal to read.
Novah and Nolan are a second chance love story. The idea of the story was good, I just did not like the way it was written. I just could not get past the things that did to each other.

**REVIEW** Let it Ride by Melanie Jayne

This is more like 3.5 stars.

I was kind of excited to get to read this cause of the title and the dice on the cover. I was thinking gambling, Vegas, hot nights. Well, I wasn’t wrong. It just wasn’t the way I thought. There was gambling, but it was from the casino owners viewpoint. There was Vegas, that’s where Francesca lives, but this takes in Chicago at a convention. There were hot nights. Enough said ;0)

Remy has wanted Frankie for a couple of years and knowing she’s coming to this convention and is on a panel with him, he figures it is the perfect time to finally get her. Frankie thinks she’ll let go and be with him for a weekend, but he tells her he wants more.

This was a great little short story to introduce us to this couple. It is totally a cliffie, so if you can’t handle those, you probably shouldn’t read this one now LOL Read it when the rest comes out 🙂

Happy Reading! ~Susan

*Promo and Review* Hook by Elisabeth Grace

Meet Marco Valenti in Hook by Elisabeth Grace!

Amazon US:

Amazon UK:

Women loathed me without even knowing my name.

Men coveted the very idea of me.

Escort. Call girl. Prostitute. Hooker. Whore.

I’d heard it all. Done it all.

Over the years I’d felt a lot of things about my occupation…but not regret–never regret. I had my reasons for doing what I did and nothing and no one had ever made me question them.

He’d changed me and I’d naively fed into the fairy tale.

But Marco wasn’t my Prince Charming.

He had secrets of his own.

Secrets that would eventually rip away everything I held dear.

hook teaser 6

Marco leaned into me, his breath fanning across my face, causing goosebumps to race across my skin. “You’re very stubborn for someone who’s paid to provide me pleasure. É una fortuna che mi piacciono le sfide.”

“What was that?” I asked softly.

Good thing I enjoy a challenge,” he replied without blinking.

I cleared my throat, uncomfortable with the level of attention he was giving me. “Why don’t we get on with what I’m here for,” I suggested in a sultry voice.

His eyes narrowed. “As you wish. Your madam says you are like a…” He looked off toward the ceiling. “The animal that changes color.”

“A chameleon?”

“That is the one.” He smiled widely, showcasing a dimple in his left cheek, made more pronounced by the dark stubble on his jaw. As sudden as the ferocity had flared up inside of him, it quickly disappeared.

“It’s true. I can be whatever you want,” I replied in a seductive voice. I closed the distance between us, placing my hand on his chest. He flinched at the contact like I’d scorched him. Not a lot, but enough that I noticed.

Looking up into the depths of his dark eyes, I said, “Why don’t you tell me what you’re looking for, and then we can discuss any extras in my payment.”

The smile dropped from his face and he reached for my wrist, pulling my hand from his chest. “What I want from you will be very different than most men.”

My eyes widened and I sucked in a breath. This ought to be interesting. I’d had all manner of things proposed to me before, but the fact that Marco felt the need to warn me set off alarm bells ringing in my head.

“And what is it you want from me, Mr. Valenti?” I whispered.

“Call me Marco.”

“Alright, Marco.”

He traced his thumb along my hairline and stared down at me, intensity pouring out of his gaze like a waterfall. My breathing hitched, and I found myself wanting to lean into his caress to further close the distance between us.

Then the hum of his cell phone vibrating from his pocket broke our connection. He reached into his pocket, glanced briefly at the screen, and stepped back to take the call.

“As always, your timing is impeccable.” The corners of his mouth dipped, and I had the distinct impression that he wasn’t pleased with whoever was on the other end of the line.

Marco listened for a moment while staring out the wall of glass down to the strip below. His hand holding the phone flexed around it for a second at something the other person had said.

“Give me five minutes,” he bit out.

Another pause.

“Well, if you want it to happen tonight, you have no choice but to wait.” Without a goodbye, he ended the call and placed the phone back into the breast pocket of his suit jacket.

With his hands on his hips, he remained facing the window for a moment, drawing in deep breaths of air.

“I must go.”

Not what I was expecting to hear. “Okay…”

He turned and stalked forward until only mere inches separated the two of us. His large hand came to rest at the swell of my hip before he leisurely dragged it across my waist and brushed the side of my breast with his palm. My nipples tightened inside my lace bra.

Marco dropped his hand and leaned into me. My heart picked up pace inside my chest as I waited for his lips to touch mine. He stood solid and still before me while I waited, my anticipation like a live wire setting every nerve ending in my body on fire.

Just when I thought he’d close those final few inches, he brought his face alongside mine and his low voice sounded in my ear, “I’ll get you your money.”

His words were like a bucket of cold water, and I stepped back as if he’d slapped me. It pissed me off that he’d left me wanting.

He stalked back over to the bar and returned a moment later with an envelope. I eyed the cash inside before placing it in my purse. It seemed ridiculous to me that I’d be paid for having a conversation in the man’s room for such a short time, but I wasn’t about to argue with him about it.

“It’s been a pleasure, Mr. Valenti.” I made sure to use his last name since he’d asked me not to. I had a tendency to lash out when I was upset.

An amused grin formed on his face, but he said nothing. I strutted around him to the suite door.

As I unlocked the dead bolt then slid the chain across, Marco’s hand landed on my ass, skimming over it a few times before his other hand pulled my hair to the side to expose my neck.

I hadn’t even heard him come up behind me.

He pressed a kiss to the base of my neck and I shuddered, shivers racing up my spine. I felt his smile against my skin before he removed his lips and stepped away.

Without a backward glance, I turned the door handle and left the suite.

The warm feeling that had invaded my chest remained, but my stomach fell into a nauseous churning. Somehow my body knew what I didn’t already. Marco Valenti would be the springboard in my life that caused everything to change.

About the Author:

elisabeth grace

USA Today Bestselling author, Elisabeth Grace, has a soft spot for romance novels with happily ever afters and a hot spot for alpha males! She currently lives outside Toronto, Canada with her hubby and two small children. Life is busy, but never to busy for a good story and to share her love of reading and writing with others.

5 stars!

OH MY GOD!!! After reading the last word I just sat, stunned, for a few minutes. This was full of romance and angst. Reminded me a bit of one of my favorite movies, Pretty Woman (in fact, Emily even mentions it in here LOL). I can’t say too much without giving away what happens, just know there’s a hot Italian guy, Marco, a pretty high-class hooker named Emily who does this for a really good reason, an angry Italian guy named Vito who may or may not have mob connections, and a sweet romance that blooms between Emily and Marco that could totally be over if what happened at the end was really what it sounded like.

This is definitely a cliff-hanger! And I’ll be anxiously waiting for the next one.

Happy Reading! ~Susan
